Privacy Policy

How FamFlo collects, uses, and protects your information — including transactional SMS. Effective June 4, 2026. Last updated July 10, 2026.

FamFlo LLC (“FamFlo,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you visit getfamflo.com, submit care request or helper profile forms, receive match emails or SMS notifications, or pay connection fees through our platform (collectively, the “Platform”).

By using the Platform or submitting information to us, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

SMS / Text Messaging Privacy Notice

This section applies to FamFlo’s SMS/text messaging program. For A2P 10DLC carrier review, our dedicated SMS privacy page is published at getfamflo.com/sms-privacy-policy/.

  • Program name: FamFlo (FamFlo LLC)
  • Purpose: Transactional text messages about care requests, helper applications, matches, introductions, payments, and onboarding — not bulk marketing or lead sales
  • Opt-in: You opt in when you voluntarily submit a care request or helper profile form at getfamflo.com, provide your mobile phone number, and accept our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy before submitting
  • Message frequency: Message frequency varies
  • Rates: Message and data rates may apply
  • Opt-out: Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help. Email hello@getfamflo.com or call +1 (773) 600-8010

Mobile information — no marketing sharing: We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. FamFlo uses Twilio solely as a contracted SMS delivery provider to transmit messages on our instructions.

For introductions you request, FamFlo may give your matched family or helper the contact details needed to complete that introduction. That limited disclosure is part of the introduction service you requested. It is not sharing of your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

1. Who We Are

FamFlo LLC is a personal household connection platform based in Chicago, Illinois. We facilitate introductions between families seeking household support and independent helpers who provide childcare, cleaning, housekeeping, and related services. FamFlo is not a staffing agency, employment agency, or domestic placement agency.

Contact: FamFlo LLC, 2027 W Division Street, Chicago, Illinois 60622 · hello@getfamflo.com · Contact form

2. How the Platform Works (and What That Means for Your Data)

Most families and helpers interact with FamFlo through online forms, email, and (when you provide a mobile number) SMS text messages. You do not need a WordPress website account to submit a care request or helper application. When you submit a form, we create or update a contact record in our customer relationship system and may send you automated confirmation, match, payment, and follow-up messages by email and SMS.

FamFlo coordinates introductions only. We do not employ helpers, assign work, or manage ongoing relationships between families and helpers. Personal information is used primarily to evaluate fit, make introductions, and communicate about your request or application.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

Depending on how you use the Platform, you may provide:

  • Identity and contact: name, preferred name, email address, phone number, city or neighbourhood, ZIP code
  • Family care requests: household details, scheduling needs, childcare or cleaning preferences, budget, household rules, and other information you choose to share on care request forms
  • Helper profiles: experience, qualifications, availability, rates, references, background-check openness, service type, and narrative descriptions about your work
  • Helper agreement: legal name, services offered, acknowledgements, typed signature, and date on the Helper Network Onboarding Agreement
  • Payment-related information: billing name, email, and payment details entered at checkout (processed by our payment provider; FamFlo does not store full card numbers on our servers)
  • Communications: messages you send to hello@getfamflo.com, contact form submissions, and replies to our emails

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Platform, we or our service providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, operating system
  • Pages visited, referring URL, date and time of visit
  • Cookie and similar technology data (see Section 10)

4. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Receive and review care requests and helper applications
  • Evaluate potential matches between families and helpers
  • Send transactional emails and SMS text messages (confirmations, match notifications, introduction details, payment links, onboarding steps, and status follow-ups)
  • Process connection fees and subscription payments through WooCommerce and Stripe
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform
  • Respond to support inquiries and enforce our Terms of Use
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect the safety and integrity of the Platform

We may use aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you for analytics and service improvement.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

5.1 Introductions Between Families and Helpers

When FamFlo identifies a potential match and a family completes the connection fee, we may provide limited contact and profile information to the matched parties so they can connect directly. This typically includes names, email addresses, service type, and relevant details from the care request or helper profile, and may include a phone number for the introduction you requested. FamFlo does not disclose full form submissions to unmatched parties. We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5.2 Service Providers

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Platform, including:

  • Website hosting and infrastructure (site delivery and security)
  • Fluent Forms (form submission and storage)
  • FluentCRM (contact records, tags, email automations, and SMS automations)
  • Twilio (delivery of transactional SMS text messages to U.S. mobile numbers)
  • WooCommerce and Stripe (payment processing for connection fees and subscriptions)
  • Email delivery (transactional and service-related messages)
  • Analytics and SEO tools (e.g., site performance and search visibility, where enabled)

These providers process information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only to perform services for FamFlo, subject to their own privacy practices. Service providers do not receive your mobile number or SMS opt-in data for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

5.3 Legal and Safety

We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is required by law, court order, or government request, or if necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of FamFlo, our users, or others, including fraud prevention and enforcement of our policies.

5.4 Mobile Information and SMS Opt-In Data

We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or trade mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent. Service providers such as Twilio process messages only on our instructions.

6. Background Checks and Verification

FamFlo may facilitate reference checks or background screening for helpers who have consented as part of the helper onboarding process. FamFlo does not employ helpers and does not guarantee the accuracy of all information provided by users. Families remain responsible for their own due diligence, including verifying identity, checking references, and conducting additional screening before engaging a helper.

7. Email, SMS, and Marketing Communications

7.1 Transactional email and SMS

We send service-related emails and, when you provide a mobile phone number on a form, transactional SMS text messages about your care request, helper application, match status, payment, introductions, and onboarding. These messages are part of using FamFlo and mirror the same service updates we send by email.

SMS program details:

  • Program name: FamFlo
  • How you opt in: You voluntarily submit a care request or helper profile form at getfamflo.com, enter your mobile phone number, and accept our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy before submitting.
  • Types of messages: Request confirmations, match updates, introduction and contact details, payment reminders, helper agreement steps, and follow-up check-ins related to your active request or application.
  • Frequency: Varies based on your request status. You may receive several messages during an active match process; we do not send recurring marketing texts on a fixed schedule.
  • Charges: Message and data rates may apply
  • Opt-out: Reply STOP to any FamFlo SMS to unsubscribe from future text messages. Reply HELP for assistance.
  • Support: hello@getfamflo.com or +1 (773) 600-8010

We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS delivery is handled by Twilio on our behalf under contract.

Opting out of SMS (STOP) stops future text messages but does not automatically stop service-related emails unless you separately request that. Some transactional emails may still be needed to complete payment or legal notices for an active request.

7.2 Marketing communications

If we send promotional or newsletter emails, you may opt out using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting hello@getfamflo.com. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional messages about an active request or match. Promotional SMS, if offered in the future, would require separate consent.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Process your care request or helper application
  • Maintain contact records for matching and follow-up
  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements

When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we may delete or anonymize it, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business records.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You may:

  • Request access to personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information, subject to legal and operational limits (e.g., records tied to completed payments or active matches)
  • Opt out of SMS by replying STOP to any FamFlo text message, or of non-essential marketing emails as described in Section 7

To exercise these rights, email hello@getfamflo.com with your name, the email address you used with FamFlo, and a description of your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Residents of California and other states with privacy laws may have additional rights regarding access, deletion, and opt-out of certain processing. FamFlo will honour applicable legal requirements when we receive a verifiable request.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

FamFlo uses cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep the site functioning (e.g., shopping cart and checkout sessions)
  • Remember preferences where applicable
  • Understand how visitors use the Platform
  • Support security and performance

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect checkout, form functionality, or other features.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information, including HTTPS encryption for data in transit and access controls for internal systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is intended for adults (18 and older) seeking household support or offering helper services. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Care request forms may include information about children in your household (e.g., ages or scheduling needs). That information is provided by the parent or guardian and used solely for matching purposes.

13. Third-Party Links

The Platform may link to third-party websites or services. FamFlo is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their policies before providing personal information.

14. International Users

FamFlo operates from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer and processing.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
