1. About FamFlo

FamFlo is a coordination platform designed to help families and independent helpers connect for childcare and household support.

FamFlo provides tools that allow families to submit care requests and helpers to share their availability and experience so that introductions can be coordinated.

FamFlo is not:

  • An employer of caregivers or helpers

  • A staffing agency

  • A payroll provider

  • A party to employment agreements between families and helpers

Any work relationship, compensation agreement, schedule, or responsibilities are agreed upon directly between families and helpers.

FamFlo does not supervise, manage, or control the work performed by helpers.

2. Eligibility to Use the Platform

To use FamFlo, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Have the legal capacity to enter into agreements

  • Provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account

By using the Platform, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

FamFlo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

3. User Accounts

Users may create accounts as:

  • Families seeking care support

  • Helpers offering childcare or household services

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • All activity that occurs under your account

  • Updating your information if it changes

FamFlo may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Platform.

4. Nature of the Platform

FamFlo acts solely as an intermediary coordination platform.

The Platform may allow users to:

  • Create care requests

  • Share profiles and experience

  • Receive introductions to potential families or helpers

  • Communicate for the purpose of arranging care

FamFlo does not guarantee:

  • That families will find helpers

  • That helpers will receive work

  • That any introductions will result in ongoing care arrangements

All decisions about hiring, scheduling, compensation, and responsibilities are made independently by the users involved.

5. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information

  • Communicate respectfully with other users

  • Follow all applicable local laws and regulations

  • Respect privacy and confidentiality

Users must not:

  • Harass or abuse other users

  • Provide false credentials or references

  • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to manipulate or misuse the matching process

FamFlo reserves the right to remove users who engage in harmful or dishonest behavior.

6. Background Checks and Verification

FamFlo may review profiles and information for general completeness or consistency.

However, FamFlo does not guarantee verification of:

  • Identity

  • Background checks

  • Driving records

  • Certifications

  • References

  • Work eligibility

Families and helpers are responsible for performing their own due diligence, including:

  • Reference checks

  • Identity verification

  • Background screening

  • Confirming credentials

FamFlo strongly encourages users to conduct appropriate screening before confirming care arrangements.

7. Payments and Compensation

FamFlo does not set wages, negotiate pay, or process payroll.

Any compensation agreements are made directly between families and helpers.

FamFlo is not responsible for:

  • Wage disputes

  • Payment arrangements

  • Taxes

  • Employment classification

  • Benefits or insurance

Users are responsible for complying with applicable labor and tax laws.

8. Scheduling and Care Arrangements

FamFlo may provide tools that help coordinate schedules and care needs.

However:

  • FamFlo does not supervise care sessions

  • FamFlo does not manage daily responsibilities

  • FamFlo does not guarantee attendance or reliability of any user

All arrangements, expectations, and responsibilities should be discussed clearly between families and helpers.

9. Safety and Risk Acknowledgment

By using FamFlo, users acknowledge that interactions may occur between individuals who were previously unknown to each other.

While FamFlo aims to promote respectful and responsible use of the Platform, we cannot guarantee the behavior of any user.

Users agree that they are responsible for:

  • Making informed decisions

  • Verifying information

  • Taking reasonable safety precautions

FamFlo is not responsible for the actions or conduct of users during or outside the Platform.

10. User Content

Users may submit information including:

  • Profile details

  • Care requests

  • Descriptions

  • Images

  • Messages

By submitting content to FamFlo, you grant FamFlo a limited license to use, display, and store that content as necessary to operate the Platform.

Users must ensure that their content:

  • Is truthful

  • Does not violate privacy rights

  • Does not contain unlawful or harmful material

FamFlo may remove content that violates these Terms.

11. Platform Availability

FamFlo may update, modify, or improve the Platform from time to time.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation of the website or services.

FamFlo reserves the right to:

  • Limit access

  • Suspend services

  • Perform maintenance

12. Termination of Use

FamFlo may suspend or terminate user access if:

  • The Platform is misused

  • Harmful or deceptive behavior is reported

Users may also stop using the Platform at any time.

Termination may result in the removal of user profiles or content from the Platform.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FamFlo shall not be liable for:

  • Disputes between families and helpers

  • Injuries, damages, or losses occurring during care arrangements

  • Financial or employment disputes

  • User conduct or misrepresentation

FamFlo provides the Platform “as is” without warranties of any kind.

Users agree that they use the Platform at their own discretion and risk.

14. Changes to These Terms

FamFlo may update these Terms from time to time.

When changes occur, the updated version will be posted on the website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
